Jack White Releasing 7th Studio Album, "Frozen Charlotte", This July

Jack White is back with his seventh studio album, *Frozen Charlotte*, arriving July 10, 2026 on Third Man Records. Here's everything to know about the record, its singles and pressings, and the lore behind the title.

The Album

Frozen Charlotte is Jack White's seventh solo studio album, released via his own Third Man Records on Friday, July 10, 2026. White announced it alongside the lead single "Dollar Bill," which is out now on all streaming services. The release lands as his 2026 World Headline Tour rolls on, with the North American leg kicking off the same day the record drops, July 10, in Washington, DC.

The Title

The title nods to a piece of American folklore. The "Frozen Charlotte" was a 19th-century porcelain doll named for the cautionary ballad about a young woman who froze to death on a winter sleigh ride after refusing to bundle up. It's a fittingly eerie reference for the album's stark cover art, a pale statue and an electric-blue skull set against black.

The Pressings

True to Third Man form, Frozen Charlotte comes in a run of collectible pressings. Alongside standard black vinyl, there's a limited "Zug Island Blue", a Third Man Records exclusive, a "Chrome" edition for the tour and webstore, and a limited "Ice Blue" pressing made specifically for independent record stores including Rock & Soul! The album is also available on CD and cassette.

Want to hear it before release day? Rock & Soul is hosting a free advance listening party on Wednesday, July 8 at 5 PM, two days before the street date, and you can buy the record early at the event. [Read the full event details and RSVP here.]
