Yamaha URX22C Overview

Designed to provide a seamless workflow for musicians and streamers, the Yamaha URX22C is a 2x2 USB-C audio interface featuring a two XLR-1/4" mic/line combo inputs, DSP-powered mixing and effects, and a compact form factor. With the ability to switch input 2 to Hi-Z mode for passive instruments like guitar and bass, this interface can handle almost any application.

Each mic/line input features a Class-A D-PRE mic preamp and supports +48V phantom power for active microphones, activated via a switch on the back of the unit. Latency-free monitoring with DSP FX lets you engage in deep mixes for your live stream or audio recording without having to reach for DAW plug-ins. More control, along with DSP selection, is possible via the intuitive dspMixFX control app. The URX22C offers high-quality sound with 32-bit / 192 kHz AD/DA conversion and ultrafast USB 3.0 connectivity. Along with front-panel combo jacks, the interface sports a 1/4" headphone output, stereo 1/4" line outputs, DIN 5-pin MIDI I/O, and two digital ports: one USB-C 3.0 port and one micro-USB port. A switch allows you to select which bus you want to receive power from, allowing you dedicate micro-USB to power and USB-C for host connections, for example. The URX22C includes a USB 3.0-compatible USB-C to USB-A cable.
