Shure SV200 Overview
The Shure SV200 is a cost-effective handheld microphone with a dent-resistant grille designed for everyday use in live sound, karaoke performances, presentations, recording, and similar applications. This version of the microphone includes an XLR to XLR connecting cable. The mic's dynamic capsule is less sensitive than a condenser, making it well suited for use on stage, while its cardioid pickup pattern helps to focus audio capture on the subject, helping to reduce feedback when sound reinforcement equipment is deployed. The microphone features a durable metal build with a reinforced, impact-resistant grill. The mic requires no power to operate and an On/Off switch is provided that allows for quick muting.
