Created for a wide range of environments, from bars and small clubs to anywhere you need flexibility, professional features, and a space-saving design, the AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X is the latest DJ multiplayer that offers everything that makes DJ players popular with any professional environment. The player offers the flexibility of using separate players and can be combined with different gear, including turntables and your favorite mixer, to create your perfect setup. It also packs in a host of pro-level features and inherits the high quality and usability of the flagship CDJ-3000X.

Thanks to its space-saving design, the CDJ-1500X fits into smaller DJ booths and a wide range of setups. It comes with all the practical benefits of using separate players too, such as easy maintenance and replacement. Built-in Wi-Fi opens the door for you to access your cloud-based music library via rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, so you can go beyond USB drives and always DJ with your latest collection. And this is the first player to be compatible with CoBeat, an exciting new service, offering a fresh way to interact with the crowd and receive song requests directly on the screen of the CDJ.

Compact Design for Small Spaces
Designed with compact DJ booths in mind, the CDJ-1500X is ideal for bars, small clubs, and home setups. While it includes many key features of the flagship CDJ-3000X, the new multiplayer has a significantly smaller footprint. This makes it easy to fit the multiplayer into tighter spaces and combine it with turntables and other gear to create a custom setup.
10" Touchscreen with Enhanced Track Visualization
  • The CDJ-1500X includes the 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen from the flagship CDJ-3000X, enabling smooth track selection and intuitive performances.
  • The browse screen displays up to 15 tracks at once, so you can view more music in a single list and quickly find your next track. And waveform previews help you understand the music’s structure at a glance, so you can easily choose tracks that match the flow of your set.
  • The main waveform display now includes visual indicators for vocal positions, BPM change points, and phrase structures. This helps you easily understand each song’s progression and feel more confident when making decisions about mixing during your performances.
  • Using Playlist Edit, you can rearrange tracks within playlists directly on the CDJ—there’s no need to switch back to your laptop/mobile device, or re-export tracks to your USB drive.
  • With a choice of dark and light display modes, the information on the screen stays highly visible no matter where you’re playing—from low-lit DJ booths in clubs to bright rooms or even daytime outdoor events.
Cloud Connectivity and NFC Login
  • Access your cloud-based rekordbox library and millions of tracks from streaming services, directly from the CDJ-1500X. With built-in Wi-Fi, you can play your tracks via rekordbox CloudDirectPlay as well as songs from platforms such as Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, and Tidal using the StreamingDirectPlay function.
  • You can instantly access your personal settings and playlists via NFC touch login by tapping your mobile device—with rekordbox for iOS/Android installed—on the CDJ. This, together with cloud connectivity, means you can arrive at a gig with just your smartphone and start performing immediately from your own music library.
New CoBeat Service for Enhanced Crowd Interaction
  • Want to interact with your crowd more and bring the dancefloor together? The CDJ-1500X is the first AlphaTheta multiplayer that’s compatible with the new CoBeat service, which helps your audience feel more involved in your performance.
  • By scanning a QR code (created by you or the venue in advance), CoBeat provides an opportunity for the audience to browse a catalog of tracks you’ve already chosen. They can vote for you to play these tracks or send you a message to request other songs. All this information is gathered on the CDJ-1500X, where requests are displayed on the browse screen, ready for you to drop into your set and create a shared experience with the audience. People can also add emojis to each other’s requests to share the energy of the dancefloor in real time. These reactions appear as pop-ups on your smartphone screen, helping you to sense the crowd’s response while performing.
  • You can turn CoBeat on whenever you want to receive requests and turn it off, if you prefer to just focus on your mix.
Customizable Design that Blends into Any Space
With its minimalistic user interface and matte black finish, the CDJ-1500X blends seamlessly into any setup or space. In the front panel, an illuminated bay with 2 USB ports (1 x Type-C, 1 x Type-A), makes it easy to connect USB drives and keeps them neatly stowed away, so they can't be accidentally knocked out of place while you're performing or if the booth is crowded. You can choose from 12 colors for the LED lighting to match the mood of your gig. And, thanks to the screw holes on the sides of the multiplayer, you can add optional panels to customize the look of your CDJs with different colors and materials.
