Our Story
Jordan Saltz
A passion project. A purpose.
Hi, I'm Jordan — a high school student at Essex Street Academy in NYC. My mom owns Rock and Soul, the record store and DJ shop that's been part of the city's music scene since 1975.
For years she's brought DJ classes into local schools, and I've watched what happens when students get behind the decks. So I'm helping take it further — getting these classes into more schools, in front of more students who deserve the same chance.

Giving Back
I believe every kid deserves the chance to learn, create, and grow — no matter their circumstances.
So I'm working on a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of New York to give free DJ classes to deserving students who wouldn't otherwise get the chance.
