Founded in 1975, Rock and Soul is one of New York City's longest standing independent record stores, and is among the oldest and most famous DJ shops in the world.
We're proud to have served industry legends and pioneers like Grandmaster Caz, Grandmaster Flash, Kool Herc, DJ Red Alert, Grand Wizard Theodore, Tony Touch, DJ Skribble and so many others. Many of them continue to visit us, and even perform at our live events.
