Beginner DJs looking to get into digital DJing will appreciate the Pioneer DDJ-FLX4, a 2-channel controller that includes rekordbox dj and works with Serato DJ Pro and Serato DJ Lite. This new controller offers Smart Fader and Smart CFX, which are features to help beginner DJs start mixing. Smart Fader helps you effortlessly transition between tracks by automatically adjusting the BPM, volume, bass volume, and other functions. Smart CFX applies complicated combinations of effects to the music with the turn of a knob.
The DDJ-FLX4's mixer section inherits its layout from Pioneer's professional line of mixers, with a gain knob, 3-band EQ, Color FX (CFX), a channel fader, and a crossfader. Beat FX can be applied to either channel, 1 or 2, or to both simultaneously. Each deck includes a large jog wheel, loop functions, assignable performance pads, a tempo slider, and cue and play/pause buttons. The front panel provides a 3.5mm headphone output, while the rear panel offers a ¼" microphone input and a stereo RCA master output. Two USB ports are available. One is for the host connection to a computer/portable device, while the second is dedicated to power the DDJ-FLX4 when using with iOS and Android devices. A USB-C cable is included.
