Sennheiser IE 300 In-Ear Monitoring Headphones (Black)
Sennheiser IE 300 Overview
Designed with audiophiles in mind, the black Sennheiser IE 300 In-Ear Monitoring Headphones feature a host of innovative acoustic technologies working together to deliver a nuanced and accurate listening experience wherever you go. Borrowing from Sennheiser's IEM PRO professional line of earphones, the IE300 is built with rugged, compact, and lightweight chassis, making it durable, comfortable to wear, and easily portable for keeping up with your lifestyle on the move.
The IE 300's German-made, Extra Wide Band (XWB) 7mm single dynamic drivers deliver a staggering 6 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response with total harmonic distortion less than 0.08%. A resonator chamber removes masking resonances, while newly developed membrane foils minimize natural resonances. This means that whether monitoring at low or high sound-pressure levels (up to 124 dB SPL), your audio remains distortion-free with clear high frequencies, well-defined mids, and warm bass response.
The compact housings are ultra-light (at 0.1 oz) and feature an ergonomic earmold design with a flat profile that provides a secure fit and comfort during extended use. The included memory-foam ear adapters add up to 26 dB of passive noise attenuation, keeping extraneous sounds out, reducing ear fatigue, and allowing you to focus on your music.
The 4.1' detachable, para-aramid-reinforced cable with gold-plated MMCX connectors and 3.5mm TRS plug provides mechanical reliability for standard connection to digital audio players, headphone amp-DAC combos, laptops, mobile phones, audio interfaces, and more.
The IE 300 is supplied with three pairs of memory-foam ear adapters, three pairs of silicone ear adapters, a cleaning tool, and a compact hard-shell case.
Detailed Sound Everywhere You Go
A new blend of materials in the diaphragm improves its rest-and-response times, delivering tight transients and greater accuracy throughout the frequency spectrum.
An innovative miniature chamber-within-a-chamber called the back volume helps manage the flow of air behind the transducer. The direction and overall volume of air is controlled with precision as it travels through and exits the transducer system, delivering a discernibly more defined bass- and mid-range response.
A frequency absorbing resonator chamber was added to help reduce resonant frequencies that occurs in the ear canal when sealed with memory-foam adapters and bring back lost nuances.
Long-Wearing Comfort
Reliable Connection
Gold-plated Fidelity+ MMCX connectors are seated each within a recessed, 4.8mm-wide socket beneath the housing's surface, providing rotational durability and contact integrity.
