Pioneer DJM-900nexus Overview
The Pioneer DJM-900nexus 4-Channel Professional DJ Mixer is ideal for professional mobile DJs, nightclub installation, recording studios and more. The DJM-900nexus features a 4-channel layout and an integrated USB soundcard with support for up to 4 stereo channels of 24-Bit / 96kHz audio. Its digital throughput also delivers a wide variety of DSP effects. The mixer features Pioneer's Sound Color and Beat effects, and its X-Pad touch pad lets DJs manipulate and apply effects in real-time. There are plenty of inputs for turntables and digital decks, and Pioneer's Pro DJ Link is also featured. Additional features include S/PDIF digital connections, top-mounted USB connection, 3-band isolator EQs, high performance channel faders and more.
Advanced Sound Effects
The DJM-900nexus includes built-in Sound Color FX and Beat Effects, and Beat Color FX. Sound Color FX adds Space, Dub Echo, Gate/Comp, Filter, Crush or Noise to an input source. Beat Effects include Delay, Echo, Spiral, Melodic, Reverb, Trans, Filter, Flanger, Phaser, Robot, Roll, Slip Roll, and Reverse Roll. The effects become much more performance oriented with the addition of an X-Pad, a touch screen control bar that enables quick changes to parameters.
Built-In High Performance USB Soundcard
The 4 input/output USB soundcard supports three different sample rates and the ASIO/Core Audio standards. The included utility software allows the signal paths from the mixer to be easily modified.
High Fidelity Audio
The master audio outputs, booth outputs, and headphones are fed from a 32-bit digital-to-analog converter.
PRO DJ LINK
The DJM-900nexus can link, via an Ethernet cable, to CDJ-2000 and CDJ-900 players (with firmware version 4 or later) or a computer running Pioneer's rekordbox software. This makes beats per minute and beat location information readily available for spot on beat matching.

Simple connection to Scratch Control (DVS) with TRACTOR SCRATCH PRO 2/DUO 2.
Time Code Output
Time code disc signals can be output through USB for Digital Vinyl System software when used with a Pioneer CDJ player or analog record player.
Integrated Input Selector
Enables users to simultaneously switch all channel inputs.
USB Indicator Lights
A USB connection indicator light displays the presence of soundcard to computer communications, while a USB audio input indicator light on each channel shows audio being received from USB.
MIDI Signal Output
Exports a MIDI signal that changes beat-by-beat with the music. A "MIDI LFO function" controls external devices, such as effecters.
Assignable MIDI Functionality
Operation information can be transmitted as MIDI to control connected devices.
EQ per Channel
A switchable 3-band (-26 to +6dB) and 3-band isolator (-inf. to +6dB) EQ is available per channel.
Auto Standby
The DJM-900nexus automatically switches to standby mode when inputs are not detected for a long period of time.
